At the 12th of February the Kurdish activist Halil Şen, who set himself on fire in front of the Saxon state parliament in Dresden, died as a result of his injuries. The last place where he lived and was political active was Dresden.

The last place where he lived and was political active was Dresden. Halil´s life is an example how a community is facing repressions not only at the place where the Kurdish People come from but also here in Germany. The Kurdish movement is the main target for state repressions inside Germany. We talk with two guests about the situation inside of the Kurdish movement.
