Constant Pressure - Housing Protests in Warzaw, Poland

For a few years now, there exists a small tenants' movement in Poland.

In Warzaw, the Tenants' Defense Committee (Komitet Obrony Lokatorów) fights for tenants rights together with the syndicalist union ZSP, organizing protests and direct actions. As it did on June 8, the opening day of the football Euro 2012 (report here: http://zspwawa.blogspot.de/2012/06/actio...). We talked to Laure, member of ZSP and the committee, about their protests, the housing policies of Warzaw local authorities and re-privatization practices of municipal housing.
