Cecilia Malmström to flight and asylum in Europe

If you think to the politics for refugees of the Europeen Union, you have to think for drowning people in the Mediterranean Sea, for fishermen, who are brought to court for rescue drowning refugees, for returned boats, for FRONTEX and so on.

Is this the fault of the European Commission or of the member states? The participants of "Sommerschule Borderline" spoke about this, about legal immigration and about racism in the Europeen Union with Cecilia Malmström - the European Commissioner for Home Affairs - on September 14th over skype. The "Sommerschule Borderline" took place from September 13th until September 16th in Dresden about flight and asylum in Europe and was organized by Weiterdenken of the Heinrich-Böll-Foundation.
