Does home needs to be necesarrily the place where you sleep? Or can home meen any space of freedom, contact and trust?

At „Hariko“ many refugees find what they miss during the time waiting in the camp for their papers: the chance to show and express themselves, to teach and to learn and to meet people as friends.

About the serial program @home:

A feeling, a place, a promise. The memory on a good joke, on whispering voices while waking up, a smell, that only becomes perceptible, when it’s lost. Home is elusiv and fragile, however for most of the people it is essential. In this serial programm refugees and Luxembourger exchange about their home, about memories and dreams of the future. And they tell how they create a common home together.

Geneviève and Ayham hardly knew anything about eachother when they decided to live together. A young student from Syria who hoped for a democratic society when the revolution started. An alphabetisation teacher from Luxembourg with a spare room in a her house.
