Die Performance-Künstlerin Claire Serres aus Paris ist die zweite Stipendiatin der Radio Art Residency, einer Kooperation zwischen Radio Corax und dem Goethe-Institut.

Ab September 2018 wird sie für drei Monate Gastkünstlerin bei Radio Corax in Halle sein.

In der dreimonatigen Radiokunst-Residenz will Claire Serres die menschliche Stimme im Medium Radio untersuchen: Was bedeutet es, im Radio zu sprechen? Mit einer Stimme identifiziert zu werden, diese Stimme zu repräsentieren?

Antworten sucht die Künstlerin im vielstimmigen, freien Radio. Mit Körper und Stimme als ihre künstlerischen Werkzeuge wird Claire Serres eine radiophone Metamorphose vollziehen und mit Verkörperungen des Radios auf Sendung gehen.

Performance artist Claire Serres from Paris is, following Sol Rezza, the next recipient of the Radio Art Residency, a cooperation between Radio Corax and the Goethe-Institut, starting in September 2018.
Within the course of the three-month residency, Claire Serres will explore the human voice in the medium of radio: What does it mean to speak on the radio? To be identified with a voice, to represent a voice?
The artist looks for answers in the varied and democratic free radio. With body and voice as her tools, Claire Serres will undertake a radiophonic metamorphosis, broadcasting her embodiment of the radio.
