What: interview on fair trade gold that is to be launched in Luxembourg in autumn.

Why: as I understand romanian I read the independent media that comes from romania in regards to the interests of corporations and government to start one of the largest gold mines in Europe in Rosia Montana. I know that gold is wrecking havoc in every community it reaches and so would like to see how this small piece of the puzzle fits in with the rest of the picture. Is fair trade gold actually going to help communities in "third world countries" and also closer to home, in places that we forgot are also left to the discretion of "resource" hungry CEOs? Or is it just another money making scheme for the rich?
