In Cologne where one of Bayer's pesticide production sites are located. Plus, there will be protests against Bayer all over the world.????????????????? Blockade of Bayer's hotspot of pesticide production in the Rhineland.????????????? Bayer is one of the biggest agrochemical companies in the world and they keep pushing toxics to farms all over the world which are both damaging for nature and humans. The fight for food sovereignty entails the shut down of big agribusiness .500 million small farmers currently feed around 70% of the world's population - and only on a quarter of all arable land. Industrial agriculture, on the other hand, which is driven by a handful of profit-driven transnational companies like Bayer, takes up 75% of the arable land, but only produces food for a fraction of the people. Corporations like Bayer are constantly trying to expand their power through lobbying and neo-liberal trade agreements and are making small farmers and their farms increasingly dependent worldwide. To ensure their dominance, the companies export agrochemical poisons to all regions of the world - despite the fatal consequences for people, nature and farmers. Pesticides that are banned here are also exported to the Global South, where they poison nature and hundreds of thousands of people every year (fatally)(https://blockbayer.org/ [l.facebook.com/l.php?u=https%3A%2F%2Fblockbayer.org%2F%3Ffbclid%3DIwAR0AqAbs_u0fp2d3m-HxP0mfxHCfyTHEm2zsKuczdn9VGY63O4QsYzVdoYw&h=AT2wiv5S0Veuuod9YgV7hj7OhK4lJlA2YR4OnMd_7sCZV0J8msV_V93SvJnIJrdD9shL0jXHHkRaD50N24r0q4GX69sl4Dwcg2lzU8MfMudH4ACnRucB7XisebfiESWqjOY4])We are excited to see you all!
